Since I was just a few weeks old, my father took me to the movie theaters every month. Each film pulled me closer to create visual narratives revolving around nature and people. From my time in school, and my continued experience in the industry, I have accrued the tools to enhance my visual style to achieve my objective.
Born and raised in Queens, William-Anthony Zavaleta embarked on his creative journey with music. At the age of six he was playing the drums to music from AC/DC, Lenny Kravitz, and Green Day. Through his middle school years, he participated in plays like West Side Story. He was a part of his high school concert band as a percussionist. He began photographing landscapes and street life at nineteen with his iPhone XR. He was an active member in his university’s on-campus television club: WREDtv. He earned his BS in Television/Film Production from St. John’s University, from the College of Professional Studies mid-pandemic, with a focus on cinematography. He currently freelances with Yahoo Finance.
